With a nice crispness in the air, it's time to take advantage of living in Western New York and the fantastic apples produced in this area. We went to the same orchard that we visited during Fami and Farfar's visit last October. It's about 15 minutes from our house and very nice. There are different varieties of apples ready at different times from mid-August until into November! So, trip #1 was today for us and our friends, the K's. It was a relatively short trip, but we still came home with PLENTY of apples....get ready for some serious apple cakes, crisps, muffins and sauce! (yum)
