We went ice skating last weekend, yes, that's right, on the ICE. I haven't been skating for a long, long time - maybe Lincoln rink back home years and years ago... It had been even longer for Lars, so I was the one elected to venture on the ice with Sofia. Of course our friends Hannah, Ben, Jessica and Anatole were along...
Sofia and I on an early trip around...she got better very, very quickly. 
She started off like this, in front of me holding on to my arms (killing my back)...before long she was skating beside me only holding my hand. She's an amazing kid. 
Here she is by the end...nearly on her own...
Espen had fun too, i think?
Our 2 chuckle-heads as we like to call them. Thought the glass was fun to look out of...really got excited when the zamboni came out... They are both big boys. Ben is 23 pounds (10 mo), and Espen is 22 lbs 4 oz. (9 mo) Ben is about 1/2 inch taller.
What a cool dude in his hat! We have started to put this gait up into the kitchen because he is obsessed with the dish washer door - he climbs on it when it's open...

How fun to go ice skating. Sofia is getting so tall, too. Is she pretty good?
Crys - That was her first time out on the ice. She was hanging on for dear life at first and couldn't really keep her feet under her very well. BUT, have not fear cuz within an hour she was able to go with just hanging on to one of my hands. She is pretty athletic. I was impressed. And yes, she's a big girl!
