That's right, our neighbors - The Fabers - who recently moved, ironically, to Minnesota were back in town for Ben's dissertation and defense for his Ph.D. degree. They had to make a stop to see us. They have been gone a month now and we have missed them dearly. The hope is that we will move back to Minnesota when I am finished and maybe become "neighbors" again.
Since they were back visiting, Lars put Ben to work in the back yard. You see, a very large branch from the tree in THE FABER'S back yard broke and dangled into our back yard - this happened just a day or 2 after they left. Here Lars and Ben are trying to break it down. It was fairly amusing to see Lars swinging from this branch, then he and Ben trying to twist and pull the branch down. In the end it DID NOT come down, but hopefully it will dry out a bit more and we will be able to get it down without climbing the tree in the new neighbor's back yard.
Also - this is Sofia's new swing set. She got it from one of her friends just down the street. He moved to Pittsburg and wanted to give this to Sofia. She enjoys it a lot - of course she has to climb all over it and even swing from the top bar most of the time.
