On Saturday, it was toasty warm, too warm - you know, where you don't really want to be outside, and if we're all inside all of the time we start going a little CRAZY!! So, we decided to head up to Lake Ontario and spent the afternoon at the beach. Both kids slept the 1/2 hour drive there, then we found a nice shady area to sit. We ate a picnic lunch we packed and Sofia entertained us in the water for a while. Espen slept soundly for a while in the soft wind off of the lake - he woke up only to eat and take a few pictures, then back to sleep for him. Amazingly, he slept on the way home too, which is a breakthrough for him since he usually screams like mad in the car. Then it was an evening as usual - dinner and playground before getting ready for bed.
